Only a few American states, like Nevada or Pennsylvania, allow online gambling in the US, but GGPoker has not yet negotiated licenses to service these regions.

Play Money is a free in-client currency used to play GGPoker games against other 'Play Money' players. It has no value and cannot be bought or traded. But will allow you to try many of the games and features we have here at GGPoker without having to make a deposit.

PokerStars holds its license with the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC). The Gambling Commission was set up under the Gambling Act 2005 to regulate gambling in Great Britain.

You simply need to log in to your existing PokerStars account, then follow the prompts to upgrade to the PokerStars UK version of the software. Your username and password don't change and you will still have access to all your usual games and promotions.
