Visa and Mastercard are the most universally accepted credit cards at betting sites, popular credit cards like Discover and American Express are accepted at multiple sportsbooks as well.

Mastercard is not accepted at certain stores and merchants that only take cash, such as vendors at a local fair. Mastercard is also not accepted at retail chains that have an exclusive agreement with another card network. For example, Costco accepts Mastercard only for online purchases.

Oneida Indian Nation, owner of the award-winning Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, NY, announced today that, subject to National Indian Gaming Commission review, it will be partnering with global gaming leader Caesars Entertainment to bring sports betting to Upstate New York with a licensing and branding alliance.

A Caesars Entertainment spokesperson said, The Oneida Indian Nation has already established Turning Stone as the preeminent New York gaming destination, which makes the property and its sister casinos fitting partners for Caesars.
