Dennis Nikrasch (September 12, 1941  2010), also known by the alias of Dennis McAndrew, was a Vegas slot cheater and a former locksmith who was responsible for spearheading the biggest casino theft in Las Vegas history, by grabbing $16,000,000 from rigging slot machines over a 22-year period.

Capone inherited his criminal enterprises and established a dynasty of casinos. One was the Hawthorne Smoke Shop at 4837 W. 22nd St. in Cicero, and subsequently at other locations in that suburb.

Two of the most notorious mobsters responsible for making Las Vegas what it is today were Benjamin Bugsy  Siegel and Meyer Lansky. In 1946, Meyer Lansky began showing interest in investing in Las Vegas casinos.
